We are proud to announce we are a America250MI Grant recipient!

With the support of America250MI, we are excited to announce that we will be working to make our photograph and postcard collection more accessible to the public as well as better protected to last for future generations.  We are also beginning a project to record the oral histories of the area and make them accessible to our community and beyond. We will continue to add information as we make progress on this project to Preserve our Past. 

The America250MI History Grant Program is funding projects that will help preserve Michigan’s history for future generations. The grant program represents a key element of the state's commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
